I am a band geek. A big one. Today was the first day of competition in Indiana, and my high school came in first place! YAY! They came in 3rd at the state contest last year, and the school that won was beaten today by a band that didn’t make it to state last year. Granted, the weather was bad today, so the placings aren’t 100% true representations of how they’re doing, but it still provides a pretty good idea. I’m very excited for the band, and I can’t wait to see how things turn out!
