I’m so proud of my high school speech team. They won the state tournament in their class for the first time since I was a senior. It was a great moment, and I’m glad I got to be there as a judge. They had the state champions in Humorous Interpretation and Prose, and had a couple of others in the final round, too. It’s very impressive when a team from a little school beats schools five times its size!

Today is going to be fun and tiring at the same time. I am flying to Florida to visit my sister. We aren’t sure what we will do while I am there. I have to get to Indianapolis to fly later this afternoon. I will get some work done for class while I am in the air and then it is time for fun.

I had a very busy afternoon, but it was nice. Now I’m back in my chair on the internet. I need to go get ready for dinner, though. Mom and dad have Bible study tonight, so it’ll be an early dinner.
